For those not paying much attention to the techno news...
Microsoft is going hard, so to speak.
It seems every day for the last couple of days, I've read more then 1 news article pertaining to microsoft.
Here's a list of what the dominators of the PC world have planned:
-Microsoft’s “My Phone” Skybox service to unveil Feb 16th.
-Microsoft comes up with patent license agreement with Google over ActiveSync.
-Microsoft Thrive for IT professionals launched
-Microsoft creates App store for Windows Mobile phones (about time)
-Microsoft puts a $250K bounty up for the Conficker worm
Microsoft hit its highest point in 2000, and ever since January of 2008, has been plummeting since. Maybe it can come up from this. Maybe not.
If Microsoft stopped producing all those damn 360s with RROD pre-programmed into 'em, then maybe they won't waste so much on repairs.
Btw, speaking of RROD, If you are trying to get your 360 repaired, and Microsoft customer support is giving you a hard time, call 18004MYXBOX. Tell them you got 3 of 4 quadrants red, and they'll take it from there.
I use a PS3 with Linux, btw. LOL
Communix FTW.
Microsoft goes Hard
Cuba turning into Cubuntu?
"Cuba launched its own variant of the Linux computer operating system this week in the latest front of the communist island's battle against what it views as U.S. hegemony."

This isn't surprising and I believe Russia is also making a migration from Windows to Linux as well
And, as we all Know... In Soviet Russia, Linux Hacks You.
The russians have named it.... Russian OS. They need more PR/Advertising people.
If you are truly surprised, and are asking... Well, why the hell would they want to do this when Windows is everywhere (including everywhere in Cuba)... An old story you might want to read could share some new light on the subject.
CIA plot led to huge blast in Siberian gas pipeline
Apparently, the russians were looking for some warez, and found it all right...
This warez copy they installed also managed to blow up some gas pipelines and cost the russians a good amount of money. Then the russians laughed about it and made it a point to execute the spy who had set it all up.
So now, the Communix of the world are all transferring over to Linux.
This will be good since like most software and hardware, Nuclear weapons, just like COD World at War, aren't compatible with Linux.

Been a while / Language Packs
I completely forgot this existed. I went to sign up and was notified that my email was in use. Managed to regain access here and I'm going to start using this.
Anyway, I've been working on alot of things recently, mostly with iDEN dealers out of the country. The CNS issue has plagued us since the dawn of time, and although my dealers inside the USA don't tend to ask or bother with it... I've been getting asked questions all the time from my contacts overseas.
Unfortunately, I no longer have the machine power, nor people power to tackle this as dilligently as I would have been able to 1-2 years ago. Many of the developers I worked with have moved on to better things (iPhone, PPC, etc)
I have been designing many things. I've been working on language pack conversions for Boost Mobile phones. You can view some of the language pack conversions here:

I'm offering Arabic, Hebrew, Korean, French, Portuguese, and Spanish language packs.
